My Mission
I am Sandra, inspiring business leaders with my story. My journey has not always been easy in the society and business. It is for me the right time in life as global IT executive to show how I and so many others re-invent ourselves again and again to reach new heights. My mission is to inspire and create awareness that we are not strangers in the crowd. We are people with passion and a strong willpower who make their journey in their own way. Let us together make it easier for the youth to achieve their dreams in the business world.
Meet the youth
Why should we start today? The youth! I had the honor to meet across the world the most incredible kids with each their own disability. They play basketball, they strive for the swimming national title, they create wonderful art. They make their what seems impossible journey possible. When it comes down to their careers though, dreams are often seen as illusions. Too many challenges, too less opportunities.
Climb the mountain with me
We all have diversity programs and aim for equality. A good start but we need more, more powerful actions. Let us be bold, building a global culture where people with a disability are not seen as strangers or extra ordinary people but as a valuable team member like you and me. Let us be warriors aside them who open paths to their dreams. Let us be the industry leaders that change the prejudices for good. Let us start today to turn our own impossible journey to become possible.

Inspire your employees or event attendees with a heart warming story about a warrior who aims to daily reach new heights no matter the obstacles on her journey. She lets you see that society does not need a manual to interact with her, that being different is actually a gift and that with some open-mindness and a friendly wink we all can make that little difference.
My speaker sessions are given worldwide without boundaries. We may also help in creating content and visual material for diversity trainings or other HR initiatives. All revenue is re-invested in our mission. Today it goes to the making of a documentary where we aim to inspire youngsters and others to reach new heights.

People often say I have a crazy life. I have a full time job with quite some travel, being a single mother and not afraid of jumping in the unknown. Together with an amazing artistic team, I have the opportunity to inspire the world with my journey. They followed me as my better half the past year and yet the heights are still to come. We strongly believe that this is the medium to reach a global audience with our mission.

Get to know
me
I live in Brussels and have a wonderful 15 years old son. Together with him, we make every day count. My journey has not been and will not be as easy. I am born with a genetic disorder which causes that my nerves are slowly breaking down. Today I can still walk short distances with my protheses but my wheels are my freedom. Our whole body needs nerves to function. I know that a time in life may come that I will need breathing and eye communication support to survive. Till that day comes, I enjoy every step I am taking.
My passion in the IT gave me the energy to pursue a PhD and build a career to a global executive role. Throughout this journey, I have encountered ups and downs like most of us. The empowerment to reach your dreams and fly comes for me from a deeply rooted mindset. I need to daily say goodbye to some body functionality. To cope with this, I focus on the things that I can do today to shape my tomorrow. For me this is much more than a leadership vision, it is how I make my impossible journey become possible.
